What you’ll do
You will be involved in all aspects of software development – taking ideas from inception to production.
- Write clean code
- Create awesome features
- Model data and analyse end-user behaviour

Essential Skills
- Proficient in Java: Solid understanding of Java for backend development, including frameworks such as Spring Boot for building microservices.
- Database Knowledge: Experience with relational and non-relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- API Development: Strong skills in designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Cloud-Native Development: Familiarity with cloud-native principles and experience developing applications on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions to automate builds, testing, and deployment.
- Containerization: Proficiency in Docker for creating, managing, and scaling containerized applications.
- Orchestration: Experience with Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms for deploying and managing applications in a cloud environment.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Familiarity with tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to manage infrastructure in a scalable, repeatable manner.
Nice-to-Have
- ML Model Integration: Experience with integrating machine learning models into Java applications, including familiarity with libraries like DL4J or Java-ML.
- Data Processing: Knowledge of Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, or similar tools for data processing, which is beneficial for handling data pipelines in ML applications.
- ML Frameworks: Understanding of ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch and how they can be utilized or interfaced with in a Java environment.
